Black Women See Fewer Black Men at the Alter
I’ve been reading articles like this since about the time that Hannah Bruckner (a Yale sociologist and one of my former professors) released her research about low marriage rates for highly educated black women. I’m kind of tired of this body of work, honestly, mostly because I keep worrying that I’m going to have my PhD and nothing else. Well, maybe a dog because dogs love you unconditionally as long as you promise food, a nice home, and belly rubs.
