In disregarding everything that I needed (and making substitutions) for a recipe that I found in Cuisine at Home, I ended up making very delicious salmon glazed in orange marmalade.
The original recipe called for Cajun seasoning but I used Cajun batter, which gave the salmon a delicious crispy outside. I forgot the lime juice, which turned out to be fine. All in all, it was a tasty dinner after...

Real life — or at least in DC — is like college, but without homework.
Tabaq Bistro was my second restaurant week stop. Going to Charlie Palmer’s probably set the bar too high. I enjoyed my winter salad, but you can’t really mess up salad. For the entree, I had the grilled tuna. I liked it. Dessert was peach baklava —- kind of weird.
The view from the rooftop was spectacular, though. DC is a beautiful city.
I’ve filled my dining out...
Dinner at Charlie Palmer’s Steakhouse = AMAZING. Appetizers, entrees, wine, and dessert were top notch.
Now, bring on the guilt…
